District Councillor for Sutton on Trent Ward. Sylvia has lived and worked in the Ward for 37 years and has been a member of the Parish Council for 12 years. Through this, Sylvia has an in depth knowledge of issues of local importance. Sylvia also involves herself in the Young Farmers, and enjoys the countryside in her spare time. Sylvia has an interest in Environmental issues, and ensuring that Parish councils and Community groups get more responsibility in the area.

District and Parish Councillor for Balderton South. Betty has been the ward's District and Parish Councillor for a number of years now. She is a Board member of Newark and Sherwood Homes and the Safer Neighbourhood group for the ward. Betty's priorities for the ward reflect what Balderton people want. She believes that the redevelopment of the Grove School, improving housing and street cleanliness are all vitally important.
